My Mamma's Milk was started by a breastfeeding mom who wanted to help other women like herself breastfeed their babies happily and successfully. Nearly all breastfeeding women go though some difficult point in their breastfeeding journey, but the rewards are abundant for those who find help and work through these issues. My Mamma's Milk links women with the help and support they need in the Cape Cod and Southern Massachusetts area (and the broader world via the Internet!).
And although every mother is undoubtedly her own best judge of what is right for her (breast or formula), we think that providing the most accurate and up-to-date information from leading medical sources is the best way a woman can chose for herself.
Remember, breastfeeding is not simply about nutrition: it is a lifestyle and a love and a chance to embrace a strength bestowed only to women:

OWNER: Kate Conway holds a BA Cum Laude / Psi Chi from Mount Holyoke College and is a mother of two children. Her 8-year-old daughter nursed until she was 3 and a half years old and her son is currently nursing. She has overcome a range of nursing issues including mastitis and medications during lactation. She co-sleeps with her children, uses cloth diapers and has been baby-wearing for almost a decade.
